You might have already noticed some meaningful discussions here. It clarifies that XOOPS themes are derivative works of XOOPS and therefore shall be licensed under GPL 2.0. I made a mistake by licensing Inspire series themes under Creative Commons 3.0 and I hope it is not too late to correct it.

I’d like to make the following announcement:

  1. Inspire themes are now licensed under GPL 2.0.
  2. By saying the above, I mean theme.html file in the themes.
  3. Images/Flash/Javascripts/CSS are not necessarily licensed under GPL. They are licensed under their specific licenses.
  4. I might not change the existing archive of themes. The CC 3.0 License in the archive does not apply to theme.html.
